Pretty pictorial boards with wraparound picture by Sybil Tawse. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. 160 pages. 8.25 x 6.25". Spine and corners bumped. Spine has been stuck down with glue. Top of spine partly browned. There is a slight binding error of one page gathering being a couple of millimetres higher than the other pages, also glue has leaked at the first page of that gathering causing a tear in the two pages affected (54 & 55). Dustwrapper is grubby and edge worn and chipped, extensive tape repairs on verso of browned spine, loss at top and bottom. A few other tape repairs on verso.
