Name and address written in ink to front pastedown. '6' written in a small circle to both front pastedown and rear free-endpaper. Heavy foxing to textblock and endpapers. Dustwrapper is edge worn, grubby to rear panel, a few small tape repairs to verso and name and address written on verso of wrapper.

Blue cloth. Black title and sundial to spine. 222 pages. No catalogue. Colour frontis, 4 blue tinted plates. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Some spotting to covers. Tiny water stain to lower margins of some pages. A couple of page corner creases and a couple of page corner tips have very slight loss (text not affected). Some foxing to first few and last few pages else contents clean. A nice copy of a very early reprint.
