Disney studios provided the illustrations and began to make the film of the book but it was never finished. This is the UK edition published one year after the first US edition. Red pictorial front board, cloth spine. Yellow pictorial endpapers. Delightful richly coloured full-page illustrations plus b/w sketches. 11.25 x 8.75". Creasing to covers; especially bottom corner of front cover. Spine is unevenly faded with 2.5" split to side; some fraying to cloth. Uneven fading to cover edges. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. A few other margin marks.
