Good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Specially written for Australian boys and girls between the ages of seven and fourteen years. Contains the cream of juvenile fiction and articles of lasting interest. Red boards with gilt titles to spine and blind decoration and titles to front cover. Illustrated endpapers. Colour and b/w illustrations. 308 pages.
Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Old tape marks to both covers and endpapers. Rear joint broken, repaired with lots of tape, now yellowed. Crossed out writing to bottom of half-title page and blank page opposite. 3" tear to title page. Tear to rear endpaper and page before. Contents very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn, torn and creased with loss from top of front flap. Tape residue to both flaps, small patch of loss to rear flap covered with clear tape.
