Slightly better than good condition. Large format. Cloth spine, front board shows boy and girl in snow (girl carrying parcels). Full-page colour and b/w text illustrations. First story is "How Toby Came To Tea" by E.S.
Spine bumped and frayed. Corners bumped and worn. Board edges worn. Front board is scratched and rear board grubby. Some hinges cracked. Inscription to front endpaper plus '1 Hedges' stamped in ink. A second inscription plus name and address in belongs to box. Foxing to endpapers and page edges. Neat colouring to some b/w illustrations.
