- The eighth in the Adventure series. The four children and Kiki, the parrot, go off on a trip down a river in a far-off land. It seems quite an ordinary river at first until it disappears underground. The children find themselves in strange places - dark caves, endless passages close to the plunging waters, strange and wonderful temples lost for countless years...... the children have their share of excitement, wonder and fear.
