Yellow cloth, green titles and vignette. Blue and green pictorial endpapers. B/w illustrations. 153 pages. Light bumping and wear to spine and corners. Slight fade to very edge of a couple of edges. Some light knocks along cover edges. White mottling to pasetdowns at edges (from glue underneath). Foxing and some browning to outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with a faded spine; some edge-tears and chips; a few small areas of loss along edges. Wrapper has some tape repairs with magic tape to verso.

Both pastedowns have faded (fading caused by glue in binding process?). Light foxing to endpapers and textblock. Small name and address in ink to verso of front free-endpaper. Dustwrapper is just a little edge worn and faded to spine, slight chipping with minimal loss. A super copy of a very scarce first edition.
