Large format. Colour pictorial boards show children running after dog. 16 colour plates plus b/w illustrations. 287 pages. Edited by Chisholm. First story: Pocket Thunder by Harold Avery. Spine bumped, picture on it worn, 1.5" split to bottom of front edge. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Covers very grubby. Erased writing and faint ticks to both endpapers and verso of frontis. Pencil writing about contents to front endpaper. Some light foxing and a few marks to contents but most pages are clean. All plates present.
