Almost very good condition.
The romance and chronology of the opium trade, the opium war and the beautiful little ships that were the first trading craft with clipper lines. Blue cloth with gilt chinese characters on front cover, silver titles. B/w photos, illustrations and plans. Endpapers are maps. 392 pages includes index. Spine and corners bumped and a little worn. Spine darkened with slight loss of gilt to titles. Cover edges darkened. Pages lightly browned else contents clean.
