Library binding. Terracotta cloth boards with gilt title to spine. First story is The Story of Odin and the Gods and of the Making of Heaven and Earth. 6 striking chromolithograph plates, many other b/w plates and illustrations. 320 pages. Ex-lib with the usual stamps and markings. Removal of label to front endpaper has led to surface paper damage and a chip to lower edge. All plates present. Spine is leaning. Contents are grubby. A reading copy only.
