Creasing to front endpaper, with inscription in pencil to belongs to box, same page has a little pencil colour scribble. NOT price-cut. Colouring contest and page next to it have colouring in and some scribble. Butterfly colouring to page 63 has been completed. Hinge between pages 78 + 79 has been pulled. Rupert's Nature Spotting Hobby has been completed in pencil (p. 20/21).

Small margin tear to last page, repaired with magic tape. Last page has a split gutter. Still a good copy of this rarer edition.

The third Rupert annual. 1st story Rupert and the Daffodils. Colour pictorial boards. Red cloth spine. 126 pages. 10x7.5". Edges lightly rubbed, corners worn. At first glance, covers appear clean and bright, just a few grubby marks when looking closer. Red cloth spine is nice and bright. '1938' written in ink to front pastedown and name in belongs to box. 2" tear to lower gutter edge of pages 15-18 and 81-82. Hinges are pulled. Tape stain to some pages at the gutter (inner margin) where a tape repair was once affected due to pulled hinges. Page 49 and 63 detached. A few grubby marks. A reasonable copy of a scarce annual.
