Oblong format. Blue cloth. Colour illlustratoins to each page which show topsy turvy pictures. Printed on one side of the page only. The book has possibly been rebound, the ink to the vignette on front cover has smudged slightly. Spine and corners worn and covers slightly grubby. New endpapers. Foxing and other grubby marks to contents.

Corners bumped. Covers a little marked. Browning to endpapers, prelims and some pages. Some foxing and grubby marks. Tear to the bottom of one page. Colouring to a few illustrations.

A few small areas of surface loss on covers. Corners bumped and worn. Covers darkened and a bit grubby. Front endpaper browned with vertical crease and ink name stamp. Foxing to endpapers. Contents very good, just a few fingermarks.

The Fifth Brownies book in which they travel around America. All text in rhyme. Brown pictorial boards with dark brown titles. B/w illustrations. 144 pages. Covers very scratched and marked. Heavy wear to spine and corners, some loss of surface to spine. Belongs to box completed in ink. Small line of crossing out in belongs to box has transferred to page opposite and, faintly, to page after. Contents generally clean.
The Fourth Brownie Book in which they visit various countries including Canada, China, Russia, England and many others. All in rhyme. Brown pictorial boards with dark brown titles. B.w illustrations. 144 pages. Covers are very scratched and marked. Heavy wear to spine and corners with some loss of surface on spine. Stain to bottom inside corners of covers. Lower half of front endpaper stuck to pastedown, rear endpaper has been torn in two whilst tryng to remove, lower part still stuck to pastedown all connected to stain as is wrinkling to some pages. Front joint cracked. A few marks to contents but generally they are clean.
