Red cloth, gilt title to spine and vignette to front cover. Colour and b/w illustrations. Some light staining to front cover edges. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed with a small tear to lower corner of front panel, foxing on verso and some light marking to rear panel.

A critical examination and appraisal of what was the most criticised car in British racing history. B/w photos. A few marks to covers; small browning to top and tail of spine. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges; slight musty odour. Wrapper is faded to spine.

Slightly better than good condition.
Red boards, gilt vignette of train to front cover. Large colour and b/w illustrations throughout. Easy to read text. 36 pages. 8.5 x 7.5". Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers slightly grubby and with little indentation marks to fore-edges (teeth marks?). A brown spot to page edges/margins and some light foxing and fingering. Blue crayon marks to pages 4&5 otherwise contents clean.

Slightly better than good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Four boys and an old man are trapped in a cellar with no obvious escape route and water seeping in. Brown boards with gilt titles to spine. 128 pages. Ex-library with stamps and remains of label to prelims. Rear endpapers grubby. Text pages very good. A couple of small dents to text block. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn with one small tear.

Nearly fine condition in a slightly better than very good dustwrapper.
Carbonel has been summoned to the presence of the Great Cat - who would guard his kingdom and royal kittens while he was away? Light tan boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. Small foxspots to top of text block. Almost invisible tiny closed tear to bottom of title page. Pictorial wrapper is lightly rubbed at corners. A beautiful copy of a scarce book in its original wrapper!
