A lovely set contained in publisher's slipcase which is a little dusty at ends and very lightly bumped at corners.

Red cloth, gilt title to spine and vignette to front cover. Colour and b/w illustrations. Some light staining to front cover edges. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed with a small tear to lower corner of front panel, foxing on verso and some light marking to rear panel.

Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
A beautiful book! Pictorial boards, Colour illustrations throughout. Oblong format, 7.25 x 9.5". ISBN: 0370020200. Light bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Page edge browning. Wrapper is browned, with fading to spine; creased at edges and corners; a few closed tears, but virtually no loss.

Oblong format, pictorial boards. Colour pictures throughout. ISBN: 0370020235. Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers slightly edge rubbed. Small split to centre of spine (2.5cm). Inscripiton in ink to front free-endpaper. Pale page browning to endpapers. Price-cut wrapper is edge worn with tear to centre of spine and a few light grubby marks to front panel.

Slightly better than good condition.
Red boards, gilt vignette of train to front cover. Large colour and b/w illustrations throughout. Easy to read text. 36 pages. 8.5 x 7.5". Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers slightly grubby and with little indentation marks to fore-edges (teeth marks?). A brown spot to page edges/margins and some light foxing and fingering. Blue crayon marks to pages 4&5 otherwise contents clean.

Graham Greene
Henry Graham Greene (2 October 1904 – 3 April 1991), professionally known as Graham Greene, was an English writer and journalist regarded by many as one of the leading English novelists of the 20th century. He was shortlisted, in 1966 and 1967, for the Nobel Prize for Literature. Through 67 years of writings, which included over 25 novels, he explored the ambivalent moral and political issues of the modern world. He died in 1991, at age 86, of leukemia.
