A fictional autobiography. Black cloth with gilt vignette and borders to front cover, title and vignette to spine. Pink and black illustrated endpapers. Introduction by J.B. Priestley. B/w illustrations. 557 pages. Gilt at top edge faded, gilt title to spine faded to blue. Corners lightly bumped and some light mottling. Text block browned. Foxing throughout. Black pictorial dustwrapper is worn and chipped to top of spine, rubbed at corners, lightly marked to rear panel.

Text block browned. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Front hinge pulled and frontis almost detached. Scattered foxing throughout.
