Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers just slightly marked. Light foxing and page browning else contnets clean. Cracking to joints with glue repair to front joint.

Blue cloth, gilt title to spine. Grey and dark pink decorated endpapers. 255 numbered pages. B/w illustrations. Minimal rubbing to spine and corners. Some foxing to textblock and top edge of textblock a little dusty. Dustwrapper is foxed on verso, is slightly edge chipped with minimal loss and has a large tear to rear panel. There is a message from the publisher on the colophon page stating "the first impression of this edition of Cranford was published in 1940, and most of it was destroyed by enemy action".

Slipcase is lightly scuffed to one side and has a tiny nick to top edge of front panel.
