Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Blue boards, gilt title to spine. B/w illustrations. SIGNED by the author with dedication to title-page. Endpapers lightly browned. Top edge of textblock is a bit dusty. Top of spine is bumped and split. Dustwrapper is slightly browned and foxed with damage to top of spine.

Almost very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
The Binklebys are a large family of 10 children (6 boys and 4 girls). Yellow boards, red titles and vignettes. 116 pages. Colour frontis, b/w text illustrations. Page browning to endpapers. There is heavy foxing to the contents throughout. Price-cut wrapper is heavily foxed on verso (with some showing through to the front), a couple of light stains to the front panel.

The story of three toymakers who live in the Black Forest and of the wonderful toys they made for the prize offered by the King. Orange cloth, blue title to spine and vignette to front cover. 2 double-sided colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Covers grubby. Front free-endpaper removed. Neat inscription in ink to half title-page. Foxing and spotting to contents, some grubby fingermarks to margins of plates.
