The part 8 Corps played in the invasion of Normandy. Light blue/grey cloth boards, red titles. 3 colour survey maps in pocket at rear of book. Cloth boards browned at edges and spine, base of spine worn. Small knock to vertical edge of boards. Name in ink to front pastedown. What looks like a browned damps stain running vertically at edges (margins) of prelims. A few margin marks to contents but generally clean. All colour maps present and in good condition.

Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine, onlay on black cloth to front. Covers heavily rubbed, browned and faded. Corners lightly worn. Inscriptions in pencil to front endpaper. Text block browned. Some foxing throughout and a few margin marks.
