Larger format. Beautifully illustrated with artwork from sixty years of Ladybird Books, Boys and Girls is a celebration of childhood. Everyone has a favourite Ladybird Book, which is yours? ISBN: 9780723259718. Bumping to bottom of spine and a couple of corners. Contents are excellent. Wrapper is a little edge-creased.
Series 522. Buff boards with colour vignette and titles. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few marks.
Ladybird Series 413. Red pictorial paper boards. Colour illustrations. Top 1-2" of spine are split (both sides), with some creasing. Smaller split to base of spine. Light damp mark to bottom of rear cover. A bit of surface paper damage to front endpaper/pastedown, where something was once stuck. Couple of closed margin tears to endpapers. A few margin marks. Illustrations are in excellent condition. Wrapper is creased with tears and chips, with some substantial loss to edges.
Ladybird series 401. Beige boards with square pictorial onlay to front and titles. Colour and b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Some grubby fingermarks and light page browning to endpapers. Dustwrapper is grubby and edge worn, some small pencil marks to rear panel and a large tear to rear fold.

Ladybird series 401. Buff boards with square pictorial onlay to front and titles. Illustration to front is of Pen and Gwen shelling peas. Revised verses by Perring. A few marks to covers. Bumping along couple of cover edges. Pencil colouring to black and white illustrations to front endpaper. A few margin marks, else illustrations internally are bright. Wrapper is grubby and unevenly browned with some edge-tears and chips; minimal loss.
Series 606B. Buff boards with colour vignette and titles. Foxing to outer page edges and some page margins. Wrapper has ink stamp to rear flap; fading to spine; couple of tears and chips.
Ladybird Series 497. Buff boards with colour vignette and titles. Colour illustrations. Green ink marks to front pastedown. Front endpaper is MISSING. Wrapper is edge-torn and chipped; piece of loss to one corner on rear panel.
