Containing the General History, Antiquities, Sepulchral Monuments and Inscriptions, With the History of the Principal Families, Institutions and Societies of the County, Together With the Parochial History of all the Parishes in the Said County, To Which is Added a Biographical Record of Emminent Inhabitants, History of the Borough and County Parliamentary Representatives, With a Roll of High Sheriffs to the Present Time, Mayors of Brecknock and Many Useful Tables of County Information. Large format. Brown leather binding, gilt titles with raised bands to spine. 15 b/w plates including 1 map. xxiii pages (including list of subscribers) + 495 pages. Some damp marks to leather - including rear cover top corner. Some scuffing and wear to leather. Appears that binding at one time may have been tightened at joints. Inscriptions in ink to free front endpaper. Foxing - heaviest to prelims and outer page edges. Preface page (IX-X) has a corner repair (original torn off - a new one put on).
Burgundy cloth, gilt title to front cover. Folding map as frontis. 17 b/w photo plates. The Borders of Brecon, Monmouth and Hereford. Spine is faded, with wear and some fading. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing throughout. 2 portrait plates are MISSING.
Brecon to Harlech. Card wraps. B/w and colour photos. ISBN: 9781848687080. Light creasing to cover edges. Couple of first pages have slight nick to top edge of page.

Folding county map has 5 inch closed tear. The plain board covers are lightly browned. Joints starting to wear.
