Pale blue/green cloth with blue title to spine. In the autumn of 1967 a Costa Rican airliner encountered turbulence, as a result of which two people were killed (the aeroplane afterwards continued to fly). This book looks into the causes of 'avoidable' crashes. ISBN: 0218515189. Browning and foxing to covers. Bumping to top of spine. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with edge-tears; some repaired to verso with sticky tape; some marks.
