Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. The Crescent Library. Thieves, pirates and ancient superstitions lead Kathleen and Frank to more and more adventures in the Caribbean. Red boards, black title to spine. 125 pages.

Spine and corners bumped. A small mark to edge of title-page. Evidence of removal of a large label to front endpaper. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is price-cut and edge worn with an old tape mark to top of spine.

  • In the early twentieth century Kathleen and Frank's parents decide to leave England and sail to Jamaica. Their father, a Rector, had been seriously ill and it was hoped the better climate would help his recovery. The children were sorry to leave as they had always enjoyed solving mysteries and they didn't think there would be any in Jamaica. Then their father aroused their interest by telling them that mystery surrounded the parish they were going to. The previous Rector had disappeared without trace and a cloak of terror had fallen over the whole area.
