Very good condition in a fair dustwrapper.
Red boards, black titles and vignette to front. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. The case of the pirate U-Boat. Second impression. Spine and corners bumped. Pale mark to front cover. Name in ink to front pastedown and name and address in two different inks to endpaper. Red '8' to top corner of front endpaper. Endpapers are browned. There is foxing to the contents and a musty smell. Dustwrapper is edge chipped with sections of loss, tears to rear fold and grubby to rear panel. Wrapper is foxed.

Heavy foxing to preliminary pages and to textblock. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and just a little grubby to rear panel.

His dying words tell of a missing U-Boat returning to the Southern Ocean to pick up a stash of stolen Allied gold from its secret base. Biggles and the team de-camp to Kerguelen Island to try and locate it and retrieve the gold for HM government.
