Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. How Biggles at 17 joined the Royal Flying Corps. and after a few fights, went to war. Red boards, black title to spine. Embossed scottie dog design to covers. Colour frontis.

Slight bumping to spine. Endpapers are browned. Dustwrapper is just lightly edge rubbed and lightly scuffed on rear panel.

The book is notable for introducing Colonel Raymond, then Major Raymond, who involves Biggles in some of his espionage war effort. Full of World War I stories.
