Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Biggles finds himself at 'Hells Gates'. Red boards, black title to spine, small vignette to front board. Colour frontis, b/w text illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Inscription in ink to front free-endpaper. Small pencil mark crossed out with ink to same page. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and scuffed, rear panel is grubby.

Damp stain to lower edges of covers. Removal of labels to prelims. Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Girls school ink stamp to title page (crossed out) and a library number to lower margin of same page. Some spotting to edge of textblock. Price-cut wrapper is edge rubbed with damp stains at lower edges.
