Good condition. Contains about 200 illustrations including some cat ones by Louis Wain plus the cover illustration. Front cover shows two dogs and a cat grooming themselves (with brushes and combs). Burnt orange cloth, black title to spine and gilt title to front. 192 pages.
Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers a bit grubby. Joints cracked showing webbing. Endpapers browned, and front free-endpaper is chipped at edges. Frontis is possibly missing (there is a tissue-guard but no plate). Colouring to some of the b/w illustrations throughout. Grubby fingermarks to contents. Some hinges cracked.
