Stories of a cute little bulldog. Translated by A. Teixera de Mattos. Brown cloth, gilt titles. Large pictorial onlay to front cover. 6 colour plates. Bumping and wear along cover edges. Scuffing to onlay to front cover. Damp marks to covers and to some pages (mostly margins) internally. Piece of top of front endpaper has been cut out. Foxing. A few hinges are pulled, so that webbing/stitching can be seen. All plates present.

Spine bumped, worn and browned. A little bumping and wear to corners. Covers a bit grubby. One hinge starting to crack and joint cracked by frontis. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers. Foxing to contents but clean otherwise. All plates present.
