TOM MERRY'S ANNUAL
by Martin Clifford; Frank Richards; et al
Published by Mandeville Publications.
Good condition in a fair dustwrapper. The first post-war Tom Merry's annual re-introduces all the old favourites: Tom Merry & Co of St. Jim's; Jimmy Silver and his chums; and the old gang from Carcroft plus lots of exciting new features. White paper boards, pink titles and borders. Colour frontis and b/w illustrations. 290 pages.
Spine and corners bumped. Spine browned, covers grubby with damp stains at lower edges and dents to rear cover. Old tape marks to pastedowns. Top corner of front free-endpaper has been neatly removed. Heavy foxing to textblock and endpapers. Some light fingering but contents generally clean. Dustwrapper is well worn with tape repairs on verso and a little grubby.
