THE BOOK OF FAIRY STORIES

Almost very good condition. 16 Stories. Red cloth spine, pictorial paper front board shows witch reading to pixies. First story is Henny-Penny. 4 colour plates by Appleton plus numerous b/w illustrations by Fry. 125 pages.

Spine bumped and faded with 0.75" hole to rear edge. Wear to corners and cover edges. Covers grubby with a little scuffing. Ink inscription to front pastedown and completed book plate below. A couple of hinges cracked. Contents lightly browned with some foxing and just an odd mark. All plates present, one has a couple of small marks.
