Cloth spine. Front cover shows 'Here we go round the Golobosh Tree' picture. First story is 'Quiet as a mouse!'. Colour and two-tone illustrations. Splits to top and tail of spine, where cloth joins board. Staples to spine have rusted and are showing brown marks through. Scuffing and wear to covers; some creasing to corners. Foxing. Inscription in ink to inside rear cover.

Oblong format, red cloth spine. Pictorial boards showing Japhet jumping through a paper hoop held by Santa Claus. Splits to top and tail of spine; a little fraying to cloth. A few marks and scuffs. Some marks and partially label to inside front cover. Browning and foxing to outer page edges.

Oblong format. Front cover shows sledging down a hill, with dog, squirrel and tortoise looking on. Stiff card covers. Cartoon-strip-style pages with colour illustrations. Small splits to top and tail of spine. Bumping and wear along cover edges; some scuffing to cover. Inscriptions in ink and ink stamps to inside front cover, with partial old price label. Some browning to outer page edges. Contents are still generally very good - illustrations are nice and bright.

Blue cloth spine, blue pictorial boards. Front board shows the Japhet & Happy gang dancing around a tree. First story is 'Quiet As A Mouse'. 80 pages. 9.5 x 7.25". Covers slightly edge rubbed and lightly scuffed. Inscription in ink inside front cover (dated Xmas 1950). Light page browning to inside of covers, title-page and last text page. Musty smell to contents.
