Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. "Any summer evening, when you are walking down a country lane, you may hear a funny hiccupping noise in the hedge. It is sure to be Hickory Hedger out for his evening stroll..." Delightful colour pictures of hedgehogs and rabbits throughout. A cross between Alison Uttley and Beatrix Potter. Small format, 5.5 x 4.5". Pale green pictorial front board and plain rear board. A charming little book.
Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Page browning to endpapers. Foxing and some light fingering to contents. A couple of page corners creased. Dustwrapper is worn and grubby, biro mark to rear panel and some loss to top of spine.
