Good condition. Green cloth covers with elaborate gilt design to front and spine. All edges gilt. Dark green endpapers. B/w text illus throughout. 381 pages. 7.5 x 5". Preface by Henry Craik.
Spine and corners bumped, some of the gilt design has dulled with age (particularly to spine). Front joint cracked and tear to endpaper (repaired with glue). Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing, mainly to outer page edges.
