Ellen felt convinced that she would be the first person to catch sight of Queen Victoria but she was banished from the school party. But she would see her by some means or another. Antelope Book. Pictorial boards. B/w illustrations. 84 pages. Slight wear to lower edges of covers, light browning to top edges. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn with light browning to top of spine and front panel.

ISBN: 0241020891. Base of spine bumped. Front and rear endpapers MISSING. Erasure mark to top corner of half-title page. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, slight loss from top of spine. Laminate lifting in places.

Almost very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper.
The fourth story of the Smith family, beginning with a misunderstanding (like many wars before and since). Red boards, silver title to spine. 256 pages. B/w text illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. A few light marks to bottom of boards. Bottom edge of text block marked (possibly damp) which also affects bottom corners of some pages. Endpapers browned. Foxing mostly to prelims and page edges. Top edge of text block a little dusty. Yellow pictorial dustwrapper is edge worn with a few small tears. Spine and edges are browned. Rear panel is grubby. Damp staining to bottom - more noticeable on verso which is heavily foxed.
