Brown pictorial spine with pictorial front board showing three children and a bike. Pictorial endpapers. 6 colour plates. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Board edges rubbed. Scratches and marks to covers. Previous owners address label to front pastedown. Small strip of browned tape to top of front endpaper. Joints and several hinges cracked. One gathering of pages loose. Half title page detached, frontis partially detached. Tears to inner margins of some pages. Some closed tears mended with tape which has now browned. Page edges browned. Some marks to margins. 3 colour plates missing
