Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Second Edition. The strange and often macabre story of the ships which from 1788 to 1868 carried convicts from the British Isles to Australia. Green cloth with gilt title to spine. B/w plates. xi and 421 pages including index. Slight fading to base of spine. Small knock to vertical edge of boards. Bookplate to front endpaper. Contents clean. White pictorial dustwrapper is grubby and marked, light wear to top of spine.
