Almost very good condition. The first in the Milne Pooh quartet in which we meet Winnie-The-Pooh for the first time in the Teddy Bear, poem 'A bear, however hard he tries, Grows tubby without exercise...' Delightful rhymes and illustrations. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine and vignettes to front cover. Cream pictorial endpapers. B/w text illustrations. Top edge gilt.
Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. A little rubbing to board edges. Couple of marks to boards. Browning to endpapers. Inscription in ink to half title page. Some hinges are cracked but the binding remains firm. A little foxing and some light fingering otherwise contents are clean.
