Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Anna & her two brothers are orphaned by an earthquake and brought from Turkey to live in England with their Uncle. However, their Uncle thought that dancing is sinful and Anna, who belives nothing should come before her dancing, somehow has to earn enough money to pay for her ballet shoes. Mottled pink boards, silver title to spine. B/w illustrations.
Some bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Bookplate to front endpaper. Some marks and foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper has damp staining to edges and verso and browning.
