Mazda - the only company that has used and still uses rotary engines ever since they were invented. The RX-8 is one of the fastest rotary-engined production cars ever. Large format. Contained in publisher's pictorial slipcase which is also scuffed and is bumped to corners, lower rear corner starting to split. Overall, slipcase is in very good condition.

Green cloth, gilt titles. B/w photos. New Naturalist Monograph no. 5. A few pale marks to boards, gilt title is dull. Front pastedown has evidence of a damp stain (spillage?). Text block browned. Contents crinkled as if from damp but no staining except the front pastedown. Pictorial dustwrapper is strengthened to verso with brown paper at folds, a few grubby marks especially to rear panel, spine is browned and repaired to top where a small piece of loss has occurred.
