Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
When John Adams discovered Sprig Valley Mill it was empty: he often went there to play in the deserted garden and take the boat across the pond to an island. Suddenly all changed. The Mill was sold and although the new owners became his friends eager to help him, someone else - an enemy - was also after the hidden treasure. Orange boards. B/w illustrations. 152 pages. Minimal bumping to spine and corners. Page browning and foxing throughout else contents clean. One page is detached but still present (61/2). Dustwrapper is edge rubbed, creased and torn with neat tape repairs on verso.

Slight mark to front cover and light surface paper damage to rear cover (small label has been removed). Child's name in ink in belongs to box. Foxing else contents clean.
