Very good condition. Green pictorial cloth with gilt titles to front cover and spine. Top edge gilt. 20 tissue-guarded colour plates sketch map of Malta to rear. Booklist to rear of book.
Possible variant first - or printed at the same time as the first, but this includes a booklist to rear. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; browning to spine. A few marks to covers. Joints are a little cracked. Page browning. Some foxing, including to sketch map at rear, which is also creased with a couple of closed tears. Plates have margin browning; one tissue guard is detached, but loosely inserted.
