Slightly better than good condition. Cloth spine. Pictorial front cover shows girl washing toys. Colour plates and b/w illustrations.

Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Front cover slightly grubby, rear cover has a few marks and a tiny indentation. Front joint cracked between frontis and title page. First gathering pulled so feels loose. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Painting to some b/w illustrations with transfer of colour to page opposite. Also some painting to verso of a couple of plates and to blank pages at rear and endpapers.
