The author's days with a British sports & Grand Prix racing car maker Connaught. Connaught hold the honour and the distinction of being the first-ever all-British car to win a Grand Prix with a British Driver. Since that day in 1955, British GP teams have never looked back - yet just two years later, Connaught folded through lack of finance. Green cloth boards, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. x and 202 pages including index. ISBN: 1870519043. Spine and corners bumped. Some erased pencil writing to front free-endpaper. Pale browning to textblock. Dustwrapper is slightly creased at edges.
