Few sports offer so many opportunities for humour as hunting. Cream pictorial boards. 87 pages. B/w illustrations. Introduction by Paget. Spine very slightly bumped, some very slight darkening to cover edges. Name plate to front endpaper. Endpapers browned and some light foxing at page edges. A few margin marks. Top of a couple of pages roughly opened resulting in a small closed tear and small piece missing from top of one page. Dustwrapper is very grubby with a few small stains and is price-cut.

An album for Autographs and Original and Selected Verses. Oblong format. White spine with green title, grey cloth covers with gilt title to front, floral decoration to front as well. Pretty colour illustrations, plenty of space for autographs. Verses by well-known poets Spine and corners bumped, front cover and spine are a bit grubby. A couple of small old tape(?) marks to front endpapers. Front joint just starting to crack. Light foxing throughout. Most (if not all) of the spaces for autographs have been neatly filled in with names. Staples rusty.

Deluxe, limited to 500 copies. Large format (32 x 26cm). White vellum binding with gilt titles and vignettes. 30 lovely tipped-in colour plates mounted on cream card with green decorative borders and captioned paper guards. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed. SIGNED by the artist, this is copy no. 304. Spine and corners are slightly bumped and slightly grubby. Ties missing. Name plate to front pastedown. There is slight bookworm or silverfish damage to the front endpaper and some slight foxing to contents but generally a very nice copy.

BB, in his personal Indian Summer, records his own vivid impressions of summer's end. Green boards, gilt title to spine. Exquisite scraperboard illustrations. 183 pages. ISBN: 0718123670. Very little bumping to spine and corners. Hinge starting to crack between pages 182 and 183. One or two fox spots. Dustwrapper has a little edge creasing and a small mark to rear flap crease.

Heavy foxing to prelims and to page edges.

Telling the story of Pickles the puppy who is always getting into a pickle! Large format. Brick red cloth spine, with gilt title. Green cloth covers with orange and gilt titles. 24 delightful colour plates. Spine and corners slightly bumped. Very light mark to front cover else covers clean. Couple of tiny holes to spine. Front joint is partially cracked. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Some foxing, mostly to endpapers and prelims. Plates are bright and clean. Guards at gutter edges are worn in places and coming unglued. Plate XII has a green scuff vertically to verso (not affecting the illustration). Plate XVI is edge-worn. A few small closed edge tears to margins. Rear endpaper has been repaired at edges with magic tape and has one other closed tear. Despite faults this is a decent copy of a rare Aldin title.
