Being Letters Upon Prominent Episodes in the History of Kingston Upon Hull from the Date of its First Charter Onwards. Blue cloth boards, gilt titles. B/w illustrations. xvi and 174 pages. Spine browned, front board stained, boards grubby/scuffed. Text block browned. Two lengthy inscriptions to free front endpaper. Foxing and a few grubby marks to contents. Hinges pulled but binding tight.

Small piece of surface paper loss to front pastedown. Front endpaper missing and possibly a page after the illustrations list (not sure about this...). Light crinkling of contents to lower margins. Light page browning.
