Large format. Blue cloth spine. Blue paperboards with large pictorial onlay to front. 8 pretty colour plates. B/w text illustrations. Songs in French set to music. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Some scuffing to covers. Name in ink to front pastedown. Some grubby margin marks. Binding is becoming a bit weak; some hinges are pulled. Surface paper damage to frontis and adjacent page; frontis is also almost detached. foxing throughout.
A story for children. Brown cloth spine, pictorial front board shows Podgy Puppy with a chewed slipper! B/w text illustrations and colour plates. Printed on one side of the page only - one page of text facing one colour plate. Free endpapers lightly browned.

Some light foxing and page browning else contents clean.

A little grubby at spine and folds.

A few illustrations have been neatly coloured in including one of the full page Anne Anderson illustrations. Couple of hinges cracked. Very edges of frontis and some plates lightly marked. Some foxing and a few grubby margin marks.

First story is "The Kid in Fancy Dress" by Chaundler. 6 colour plates (including one possible cat one by Wain entitled "Having a good time" although there is no signature). B/w illustrations throughout. Unpaginated. Spine slightly bumped and rubbed. Corners slightly worn. Covers are a little grubby and there is a patch of surface paper damage to spine edge of rear cover. Contents are foxed and browned but otherwise clean.

Corners and cover edges worn. Some rubbing to covers. Browning and light foxing to the rear of the plates. Some grubby fingermarks to page margins.
A book of poems. Off-white cloth with pink title and pictorial onlay to front. 12 beautiful colour plates. Spine and corners bumped. Covers marked and a little grubby. Inscription in ink x2 to front endpaper, old greetings card(?) stuck to verso of endpaper. Colouring in water colours to last few b/w text surrounds with some small paint spots to illustrations opposite. Some text pages are lightly soiled. One colour plate has a 1.25" closed tear at top. A good copy. Identified as a first edition by lack of publisher name/place on title-page, later reprints featured this.
Translated and edited with introduction by Child. White cloth with blue decoration and titles to front and spine. 6 tissue guarded Colour plates. Text surrounded by border. Xliii and 132 Pages. Spine and corners bumped, some slight fading to base of spine. Some hinges cracked. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Endpapers browned. Light foxing to contents. One plate has a small marginal mark. Brown decorated dustwrapper is edge chipped and torn with loss to top and tail of spine, some marks to rear panel.
