Brown cloth spines, gilt titles. Each volume has a different pictorial paper board. Colour frontispieces plus b/w illustrations.
A few light marks to covers else a fine four volume set in a brown slipcase with gilt title and pictorial onlay to one side in almost fine condition being slightly rubbed at corners and slightly scuffed.
