Very good condition in a fair dustwrapper. An Heirloom Classic. Green pictorial cloth with black title block to spine. Illustrated endpapers. Colour and b/w illustrations. 288 pages.

Spine bumped with a little browning at top. White mark to top edge of rear cover. Small, neat inscription in ink to endpapers. Browning to front endpaper. Foxing, mainly to page edges and rear endpapers. Dustwrapper has been in two parts, now rejoined using white labels stuck to verso. Also edge worn, torn and creased with some loss, mostly from base of spine. Rear panel foxed.
