Almost very good condition. Grey cloth with gilt titles to spine and front cover and green and orange decorations. Top edge gilt. 48 tissue-guarded mounted colour plates and fold-out map to rear. Part of the A & C Black 20 Shilling Series.

1-2" split to top of spine; some fraying to cloth; other horizontal tear across top of spine - partially repaired with glue. Browning to spine. Bumping to corners. Some scuffing. Front joint is pulled. Newspaper cutting has been stuck to the rear pastedown. Some browning and foxing.
