Good condition. Coloured picture book for the nursery. Large format. Green embossed cloth with gilt title labels and small oval floral onlay to front. 16 chromolithograph illustrations.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Some light marks to covers. Section of pictorial onlay has been removed. Front joint is cracked showing webbing beneath and prelims are detached. First plate has sticker reinforcements on rear. Contents are well fingered. One text page has large vertical tear to centre with sticker repairs on verso. There are several pages/plates with marginal tears. Although the contents are very grubby the illustrations remain lovely and bright.
