A handsome new edition with the characters sensitively portrayed and the action evocatively and faithfully depicted by the 1963 winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal. Colour plates plus b/w line drawings. Pale green boards. Silver title to spine. 239 pages. 9.5 x 6.5 inches.
A little bumping to spine and top of front board. Small mark to bottom of text block. Contents are excellent. Dustwrapper is a little edge rubbed. Contained in a pictorial slipcase which has bumped corners. Top and bottom are a little grubby.
